ISSUE 617/April 24, 2025

Message from the Executive Director

Liebe TCGIS Gemeinschaft / Dear TCGIS Community,

TCGIS is getting ready to welcome family members next Friday, May 2nd at our Grandparents and Loved Ones Kaffeeklatsch. Your student(s) should have come home with a fun postcard to color and send to a special person. We look forward to introducing our school to your extended family. We will host grandparents for an introduction to our school by our leaders, tours by middle schoolers, visits to classrooms and even an invite to a middle school assembly! There will be treats and coffee too! This was such an enjoyable day last year and we are really looking forward to the second annual Grandparents and Loved Ones event.

Elizabeth Zehnpfennig, Executive Director

Upcoming BIPOC Affinity Group Events

Please join us on Sunday, May 4th, from 1-3pm at the Landmark Center as we explore the culture of Ethiopia. Landmark Center’s popular Urban Expedition program provides families with an opportunity to learn about the world right here in Saint Paul’s own backyard. The afternoon will celebrate authentic cultural experiences that include music, dance, crafts, and traditions of Ethiopia. We will meet on the first floor by the gift shop area (5th St. W entrance). To help us find each other, please wear TCGIS gear if you have it. For questions, email us.

Also, don't forget our camping trip over Memorial Day weekend! Keep an eye on your email for details.
