Our students have worked so hard these past four months of this school year, and they have been supported at every turn by our amazing staff and by a host of dedicated volunteers. We are so fortunate to belong to this generous, engaged TCGIS community.

My message this week is a simple and sincere wish for a peaceful and restorative winter break for all of you and your families and friends. May you feel the warmth of our gratitude for all you do to make TCGIS strong.

Remember to place your order for January 2023! Please log on to our online store website Boonli to place your child's School Lunch/Milk order. Please make sure to check out your cart to successfully place an order and to check your order for completeness. All orders must be submitted by 10pm on Sunday, December 18th. Orders received after the 18th will have a one-week delayed start date. 

The winter session of Enrichment Classes is coming soon! Classes begin January 3rd, and end March 30th. The price is $12 per week the class takes place- note that classes do not take place on no-school days or early release days!

We will be offering a wide range of activities. To see our course catalog for the winter session look here.

Registration is via the Infinite Campus school store. Registration will begin this Friday, December 16th at 8am. The registration deadline is January 1st, 10pm.

Kinderclub Registration closes on Saturday, December 17th at 6pm. 

We have many Parent's Night Out spots still available. Log in and register for a few hours off to run errands, have dinner or just enjoy a coffee!

Curious about what the BIPOC affinity group is? Please read the group’s charter for information. 

Saturday, Dec. 17th, 1-3 pm: Please join us for sledding and hot cocoa at College Park in St. Paul. If possible, bring sleds to share! RSVP here.

Thursday, Jan. 12, 6:00-7:30 pm: Dinner and discussion circles led by Amazeworks facilitators at TCGIS. RSVP here.

We have a few great events coming up after the New Year and we'd love you to join us!

On Saturday, January 21, we'll have our 2nd painting event where artist and parent Courtney Veszi will guide us through an awesome painting. You bring your amazing creative self - kids and family welcome, and we'll bring the canvas, paints, and some delicious cookies to snack on. More information on Cookies & Canvas here.

On Saturday, February 4, we are teaming up with Herr Tabisz for a sledding party! More information and sign up here.

AND THEN! on Saturday, February 11 at 11am we'll be hosting a super fun meeting with pizza AND Bingo! With prizes! You definitely don't want to miss out so put it on your calendar now - fun and lunch for the whole family.

Winter break is approaching and if you would like to test before seeing family and friends or coming back to school: We have free rapid antigen test kits available. Please let us know if you would like to pick up some up in the front office or we can send a kit with your student: Free COVID test kit.

The Calendar Committee needs volunteers to review the draft calendar for the 2023-2024 school year. This commitment likely will require one meeting on the evening of January 3rd. If you are interested in joining the Calendar Committee, please contact Andrew Haugen.

TCGIS Youth & Adult T-shirts available in IC School Store

TCGIS T-Shirts are now available with the new logo. Please log into your Infinite Campus Parent portal using this link: In the upper left corner, click on the drop down menu and scroll down to "School Store". Select "Spiritwear/Swag" and then your choice of Youth T-Shirt $15 (Sapphire Blue and Sky Blue) or Adult T-Shirt $20 (Orange or Gray).

Select your student's name in the "Recipient" field, select an Option and then "Add to Cart". You will then be asked to set up your preferred payment method to finish the payment.

Kids are immersed in the German language while participating in fun activities such games, crafts, singing, and physical motion, along with age-appropriate language lessons. We offer brining to advanced levels for all ages. All classes are in person at the GAI. Learn more here.
