Spring Session Enrichment Classes - Seeking Class Leaders!

Consider this an invitation to think about leading an after school Enrichment Class this spring! We are interested in all sorts of concepts for activities, and are extra interested in someone who can lead a chess club/class; if you enjoy chess and want to share it with TCGIS students after school, we would love to hear from you! If you have any questions about TCGIS Enrichment Classes, or if you would like to inquire about leading an Enrichment Class, click here for details and please email Mangan if interested!

Playground Safety

If you are arriving late with your student, or picking up early, please be sure to close the gate on the playground behind you! While it does not latch, simply having the gate shut provides an important safety aspect for our students and teachers. While our teachers work hard to remind students where they may and may not be during recess, we need your help to limit the temptation that an open gate creates! Thank you for supporting the safety of our community!

Headphones Needed for 3rd-8th Graders!

Headphones are an essential school supply for certain lessons and standardized testing. Please check with your 3rd-8th grader to ensure they have a set of non-Bluetooth, wired headphones or earbuds at school. We have a small number of loaners available, but they are in high demand and running out quickly. Thank you for your support!

8th Grade Families--Graduation Team Needed for Class of 2025

it is time to begin to plan the Class of 2025's graduation. If you are interested in helping the TCGIS staff plan this year's graduation ceremony, please email Frau Zehnpfennig

Expectations for MS Athletes

Expectations for Athletes: Middle school athletes registered on a basketball or volleyball team should report directly to the gym after school on practice and game days. Athletes should stay in the gym until the practice begins (3:30pm) or games begin (4:30pm) and are under supervision of the coach. On game days, athletes can assist the coach at setting up for the game. Once the gym is prepared, the athletes may practice in the gym until the games start.

All students who are NOT on the team may NOT remain at TCGIS during this time, unless they are registered and remain with Kinderclub until parents / guardians sign them out. Siblings of athletes may NOT wander the hallways before, during or after athletic events at TCGIS. All students not enrolled in Kinderclub must leave the school and may return for the games at 4:30 PM.

Parents / Guardians are responsible for their children and youth at all TCGIS athletic events. Spectators of all ages must remain on the bleachers in the gym, may use the bathrooms across from the gym, or exit the school building. We do not allow spectators to hang out in the TCGIS hallways, including the gym hallway, during athletic events.
