Amy MacDonald, nominated to be President of the Tuscany Canterbury Neighborhood Association.
She brings a deep commitment to public service, education, and community connection. A Baltimore resident since 1999, Amy has lived on Ridgemede Road since 2011. In 2017, she and her husband, Kelly Wright, were married in a small ceremony before the hearth of their nearly 100-year-old home, which they are lovingly restoring. They can often be found sharing a bottle of wine by the fire in the backyard, deep in conversation with each other or with neighbors and friends. Kelly is a "recovering engineer" turned Certified Financial Planner and serves as the Director of Financial Planning at Verdence Capital Advisors, a money-management firm in Hunt Valley. They joyfully share their home, with Abby (20) and Teddy (17) whose sparkling intellect and kind hearts inspire them. Abby and Teddy also represent the fourth generation of their family to call both Tuscany Canterbury and Calvert School home—their father, Matt Buck, is Head of Calvert’s Middle School, and their grandfather Rick and great-aunt Robin (a longtime Calvert teacher) were both graduates and former residents of our neighborhood.
Amy studied English and economics at Williams College and earned her master’s in public policy from Johns Hopkins, with a focus on labor economics, social policy and international development. She has worked at the U.S. Government Accountability Office since 2002, helping strengthen the effectiveness of the federal government. Passionate about inclusive dialogue, neighborhood stewardship, and the quiet power of everyday connection, Amy looks forward to serving this community she, Kelly, Abby, and Teddy are proud to call home.

TCNA Picnic and General Meeting
June 21, 3 to 6 PM
Calvert Middle School
Rain or shine
General meeting 3:00-3:30
| | |
TCNA will supply beef and veggie burgers, hot dogs and rolls, condiments, potato chips, soft drinks, water, beer, wine and ice.
Neighbors have volunteered to bring one grill, charcoal and lighter fluid, grilling utensils, paper and plastic supplies, trash bags.
Still need neighbors to:
- Bring side dishes and desserts
- Help with set up, grilling and clean-up
- Have children help with games and activities
- Bring games such as corn toss, horse shoes, croquet
- Bring one more grill
Please RSVP so we have an idea how much food to order. One year we ran out of burgers because we had such a great crowd of neighbors. Also let us know if you would like to volunteer to help. It's a great way to see and meet your neighbors.

Residential Permit Parking (RPP)
Neighbors who live in the RPP blocks need to register their cars between June 1 and June 30. It can be done on-line or in person at the City Parking Authority. For 2025-2026 RPP permits will remain paper and not virtual.
THERE WILL BE NO NEIGHBORHOOD PICK-UP OF PERMITS THIS YEAR.
Nancy Lee LaMotte will continue to be your contact through June and then Sharon Dlhosh will be the TCNA's RPP neighborhood contact.
