The 6:8 Project is an exciting, creative, new model in which Jesus followers covenant with one another to live into a Spirit-led journey
of compassionate community and scandalous discipleship. As small groups engage in Reformed Bible study and mission advocacy, 6:8 participants answer the call to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly… Our journey, ever seeking a closer walk with Christ, will involve praying, working, accompaniment, sharing, laughing, serving neighbor and breaking bread in His name. Trusting that God will lead the way, we will seek to deepen our relationship with God and neighbor by risking, obeying, and working to truly follow the example of Jesus Christ. The 6:8 Project currently focuses on the Greenway neighborhood of Fort Worth. The project partners with residents as well as Trinity Habitat for Humanity, the Greenway Neighborhood Association, Greenway Church, Emmanuel Presbyterian Church of Bedford and other organizations and uses the house at 1912 Portland Ave., a Trinity Habitat for Humanity home, as a base of operations.
