Introducing 3 New TDEG Associates

Aaron Khan, EIT


TDEG welcomed Aaron Khan to the Danbury office in June 2023 in the role of Engineer. Aaron graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in May 2023 with a BS in Civil Engineering Technology. Aaron passed the 8-hour long Fundamentals of Engineering exam in July to become an Engineer-in-Training, EIT.


In Aaron's spare time he likes to hike, bike and play basketball.

Matthew Jewell


In July 2023 TDEG welcomed Matthew Jewell to the Danbury office. Matthew is a resident of Newtown, CT and recently graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Civil Engineering. He has started his position in the role of Engineer.


In Matt's spare time he likes lifting weights, going on walks with his family and golfing.

Noah Gerner, EIT


Noah Gerner joined our Castle Rock, Colorado office as an Engineer in June 2023. He graduated from Colorado State University in May 2023 with a BS in Civil Engineering. Noah completed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam to become EIT certified and is also ACI Concrete Field Technician certified.

The Richard S. Di Salvo Scholarship is Awarded



Each year a senior at Ridgefield High School is awarded the Richard S. Di Salvo Scholarship. To be eligible the student must be planning on pursuing a career in Engineering. This year the scholarship was awarded to Paul Hickey of Ridgefield. Paul will be attending Tufts University in the Fall.

TDEG Visits Local 1 Bricklayers

 and Allied Craftworkers Center

TDEG employees attended the Structural Engineers Association of Connecticut (SEAConn) seminar and shop tour of the Local 1 Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers training center in Wallingford, CT. The seminar and tour offered design and construction techniques for masonry lintels and even allowed TDEG employees a try at laying a masonry lintel. The event was a joint effort by SEAConn and the International Masonry Institute in cooperation with the Local 1 BAC.
