"Saving Texas dance halls one two-step at a time." NEWS! Texas dance halls are receiving NATIONAL recognition! Recently CBS filmed Gruene Halle, the Broken Spoke and Twin Sisters Dance Hall in Blanco. This segment will air on July 4th, 2015 on the CBS Morning and Evening news. Watch our Facebook page for updates! And a tv reality show, the Bachelorette, filmed a segment at Gruene Halle with a dancing contest! We all know how incredible these historic dance halls are and now the world will know!  The second annual fiddle festival is in the planning stages! A definite site is yet to be determined but the event will be held in November of 2015. Texas Folklife and TDHP are co-hosts of this event. The first festival was held in December of 2014 at Twin Sisters Dance Hall in Blanco and was a huge success.
