Seabed Acquisition Services
TDI-Brooks is a scientific data acquisition services company specializing in multi-disciplinary oceanographic projects covering; environmental baseline surveys, geochemical “seep hunting” exploration and heat flow for oil and gas, offshore survey projects including seabed geotechnical, cable route and wind farm, metocean, multi-disciplinary oceanographic and high-end environmental chemistry, renewables and marine sciences.

Seabed Geotechnical
Surveys

We have developed a suite of geotechnical analytical services
for characterizing offshore geotechnical samples. Our suite of innovative geotechnical tools are for soil sampling and measurement and including box corers (BC), piston corers (PC), gravity corers (GC), jumbo piston corers (JPC), cyclic
t-bar instrument (TBAR), deep-reaching Shelby tube samplers (SPLR), and piezocone penetrometers including our CPT-Stinger and our Gravity CPT tool (gCPT).T

Marine Geophysical Surveys

TDI-Brooks acquires, processes and interprets geophysical data collected to assist in understanding seabed ground conditions in support of your offshore Oil & Gas and/or Renewables program.

Each TDI-Brooks vessel can be mobilized with a full suite of geophysical survey instruments to safely conduct marine
geophysical surveys. In addition to our in house vessel services, we offer portable tool kits which can be shipped globally to any vessel of opportunity.

Environmental Baseline Surveys

TDI-Brooks provides marine environmental baseline surveys
(EBS) for coastal, nearshore and offshore projects for the oil & gas sector, offshore wind farm and other renewables programs, cables and pipelines.

Since inception of the EBS concept in the early 1970’s, TDI-Brooks’ scientists have been performing EBSs for clients in the most rigorous regulatory environments. Our scientists have held key roles in the most high profile, prestigious Environmental Impact Assessment projects both in the US and internationally.

Seabed Geochemical
Seep Hunting

The TDI-Brooks team features experts in conducting offshore Surface Geochemical “Seep Hunting” Exploration and Heat Flow
programs for the world’s leading petroleum producers.

TDI-Brooks and our partners have been involved for 40 years in the design and execution of numerous global ‘seep hunting’ MBES programs.
