Congratulations to everyone on a successful American College Dance Association Mid-Atlantic North conference last week! There were a lot of
moving
parts (pun intended!) and the event came together beautifully, with countless workshops, master classes, and concerts. Many thanks to the ACDA committee for their hard work, as well as the student leaders and faculty who stepped up to make the conference flow smoothly.

Rebels and Revels: An Exhibit and Symposium on the Theatre of the Middle East
Friday, April 3, 10AM
Cafritz Foundation Theatre
Rebels and Revels: An Exhibit and Symposium on the Theatre of the Middle East aims to foster a dialogue about Middle Eastern theatre in North America. Due to the dominant political narratives of the region and assumptions about representational art in Islam, Middle Eastern theatre has been negated all together from discussions in US academia. This symposium, and the accompanying exhibition, will explore the ways in which theatre in the Middle East and its diaspora in North America has been shaped, and how the artists navigate Middle Eastern theatre history and the theatrical creative process.

Review: ‘Noises Off’ finds the funny in faulty theatre
“The coordination of the actors is the most impressive aspect of the production, as they rush in and out of doors like a Scooby-Doo cartoon.”
Congrats again to the entire "Noises Off" team on a fabulous production!
