YMCA Teaching Garden Blooms on Cooper Street

From drawing board to full bloom, TEAM volunteers developed a children's teaching garden for the Punta Gorda Cooper Street YMCA after-school program.

Laishley Restrooms Get a Much Needed Facelift

The City of Punta Gorda Public Works department asked for a helping hand. These TEAM Paint Your Heart Out committee volunteers painted the city's Laishley Park restrooms inside and out last month. Orchestrated by Committee Chair Barry Simescu with Betsy Spagnolo, Bill Wood, Bob Bechtold and an enthusiastic crew of volunteers.

MAH JONGG Madness

Wednesday, February 4th

Always a sell out! A fast-paced afternoon of fun for experienced players.

12 noon - 5 pm (play begins at 12:15 pm)

Location is the Dough Bar Restaurant outdoor covered patio, 520 King Street, Punta Gorda (just off 41 south downtown). The $45 registration fee includes lunch. Proceeds will help fund TEAM Punta Gorda programs.

Spooky Fun at Fall Festival

TEAM participated in the free, family-friendly City of Punta Neighborhood Fall Festival, October 25 at the public library. The annual event featured games, crafts, music, a dessert walk, costumes and loads of fun.
