Application
Instructions
- Wash
hair TWICE with KeraGreen Keratin & Protein Hair System
Clarifying Shampoo. It is pH balanced to begin to open the cuticle
preparing the hair to accept the keratin.
- Dry
hair 75% - enough so that the water will not displace the product,
but hair is still a bit damp. This can be accomplished with a towel
or blow dryer.
- Apply
KeraGreen Keratin Treatment with a spray bottle to each section
beginning in the nape, combing each section as the product is
applied. Do not dilute the product. The product is thick and will
not mist. You may store unused product in spray bottle and use on
the next client as it has not been contaminated. You may apply with
bowl and brush if you prefer - but you must discard any unused
product. Excess product will hinder optimal
results.
- Let
the Keratin Treatment sit in the hair for 20 minutes. For extremely
coarse, frizzy, or curly hair let the treatment sit in the hair for
30 minutes. (You may also cap the hair and place the client
under a hooded dryer on high to further help the keratin bond to
the hair.)
- Blow
dry hair straight. Use either a paddle brush or a round brush
depending on the desired volume.
- Section
the hair and flat iron using a professional, ceramic iron that is
temperature controlled and heats up to 450� f. � For fragile hair,
iron temperature should be 400�- 420� f and iron should be passed
over the hair no more than three times. � For chemically treated
hair that is in good condition, iron temp should be 430� f and iron
should be passed over the hair four times. � For virgin hair, iron
temp should be 450� f and iron should be passed over the hair five
to six times. *** Please note that any temperatures lower than
these guidelines will not seal the keratin properly, and the hair
will appear dull.
- Wait
3 or 4 days to shampoo with our specially formulated Protein
Shampoo and Conditioner. 3 days minimum, 4 days for best
results.
Please
note that KeraGreen is not a straightener. It is a smoothing
treatment that will leave the hair smoother, shinier, and more
manageable. It will be easy to smooth the hair with a
blow dryer, but your client will not experience a complete or even
partial removal of texture. Once the hair is washed the hair will
still have curl or a wave to it. Over time, with the continuing use
of the product and treatment the hair will begin to appear less
textured as the keratin fills in the hair and weighs it down. Every
head of hair is different, so please bear that in mind.
