CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM CHRIS

Welcome to our final newsletter for 2024. How time flies, 2024 seems to have passed in an instant.

I would like to thank all our customers for sticking with us and for putting their trust in TECHSiL to look after their adhesive and sealant needs. We enjoy the partnership we have with our customer base and love to hear about the wonderful applications you have using our products.

I must also sincerely thank our staff for the hard yards they’ve put in this year. We source our adhesives and sealants from all around the world and they don’t just end up on time in full at the right place; month after month; without some incredible efforts behind the scenes. During our Engagement Survey I was delighted to read our colleagues describing what they like about TECHSiL are: their Colleagues; the People; and the Culture.

We have focused on some of our people and their recent achievements in this Newsletter. TECHSiL is nothing without it's

people, who go that extra mile to

make a difference. There are too many to name but in particular I was thrilled to present a Twenty Year Service Award to Adam Rodgers in the spring and a couple more Ten Year Awards; I look forward to another one coming up early in 2025.

I’d like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, much joy and a healthy and Happy New Year.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE NORTH POLE RUNS OUT OF GLUE?

Chris got an unexpected phone call this week...in the panic of their looming (& immovable) deadline Father Christmas' workshop hadn't noticed they were running out of glue! The Elves has unfinished toys and they needed tecbond 214B to seal all of the boxes (got to ensure all their packaging is fully sustainable and microplastic free 😉)!

With our can do attitude and super speedy turnaround, TECHSiL swooped in just in time to save the day and keep the holiday spirit alive!

THE TECHSiL & ELECO PANACOL-EFD TEAMED UP IN COLOGNE

The TECHSiL Ltd & Eleco Panacol - EFD teams joined forces in Cologne in preparation for their Aerospace, Aviation & Defence Symposium with Momentive USA and Momentive Europe in Leverkusen last month.

The event saw some very interesting presentations being delivered; Momentive have over 65 years of space heritage with involvement in multiple space projects from the Mercury Spacecraft in 1958; the Apollo Spacecraft in 1966; leaving

their footprint on the moon in 1969 and more recently and further afield; the Mars Rover in 2012 and Orion Spacecraft in 2014.

CELEBRATING STAFF SUCCESS

Kate Harris, TECHSiL's Marketing Manager, Graduated last month in Westminster. Completing a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing with Distinction from the Oxford College of Marketing, accredited by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

This academic award builds on the experiences Kate has lived through at TECHSiL over the last 13 years; playing a pivotal role with our e-commerce and MarComms strategies - also taking part in the Diploma Leadership Development Programme to help deliver our growth agenda.

Bravo Kate and well done on the Distinction award - it was never in doubt!

Mark Willmore, TECHSiL's Senior Warehouse Operative, successfully completed the Management Training for New Managers Course delivered by ACAS.

Chris Dilley commented "I am delighted Mark has achieved this award. He's been with us almost 14 years now and keeps on pushing himself. Mark has worked hard to get this over the line. He is a shining example to us all. Well done, brilliant effort."

TECHSiL® TIM11123 (GB) Grey is a 200 micron, self-gapping, non-corrosive, 1-part room temperature vulcanising (RTV) silicone rubber. It is one of a new family of products called acetone cure sealants. These products are cured rapidly in contact with atmospheric moisture to a tough rubber that exhibits an excellent thermal conductive property of ~2.3 W/m.K.
