In December last year, we sadly lost one of our own to Cancer. John Wiggins past away after fighting an 11 year battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Many of you will have known John very well, having been with TECHSiL for 5 years since the M-Tec acquisition, and with M-Tec for over 40 years(!) before that. John has left a huge gap both professionally and personally within the team and is greatly missed.
20 of us intend to take on an inflatable 5km course later this year in John's memory. We'll be running to raise money for 2 cancer charities, The Royal Marsden Hospital, a charity which was very close to John’s heart and Cancer Research UK.
We’re hoping it will be a joyous event which will allow us to come together as a team, whilst raising money for the continued research into fighting cancer and supportive therapies provided to those suffering. If you are able to support us by making a donation it would be greatly received.
TECHSiL’s parent Company, Diploma PLC has a fundraising scheme where they will match any money raised for charity £1 for £1 so if you would like to sponsor us by making a donation, it’s likely to be doubled thanks to Diploma.
