TECNA Digest - April 2019

TECNA Board Chair Message
We began the month of April with a very successful CEO Retreat near Kansas City. The Retreat featured top content, including a session on diversity and inclusion with MESH Diversity, one on leading others through change with Cerner Corp's Mike Allison, and a fireside chat with Kaufman Foundation's Laura Evans. Very stimulating couple of days at a beautiful venue. Thanks to KC Tech CEO Ryan Weber
and his team for helping make the event a big success. And big thanks also to TECNA's Executive Director Tim Jemal and Alina Hardy. Click here to see photos from the retreat.
Coming off the CEO Retreat, we now turn our attention to the TECNA Summer Conference in Madison. The registration and conference info - TECNA2019.COM - are live, and I hope to see you in July in beautiful Madison. Congratulations and thank you to CEO Tom Still and his team at the Wisconsin Technology Council, and to the rest of the planning committee for their hard work in pulling together an exciting program for us. At the CEO Retreat, we unveiled plans for the first ever TECNA Innovation Awards and for me, inclusion of these new Awards in the Summer Conference is particularly exciting. We have so many talented individuals working in all our member councils, and this, finally, is an opportunity for all of us to recognize their efforts. I encourage everyone to check out the Innovation Awards and consider submitting a nomination. The deadline for nominations is May 22.
