Dogwood also houses an entire development suite which includes the only motion capture studio within 200 miles. Safe Check, based in Potomac, Md., developed the Safe Check Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that provides employees and consumers with a mechanism to easily share their wellness data with their employers, other businesses, and family members.

In an alliance with Maryland’s four Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), TEDCO and Howard County are creating a community of entrepreneurs to support each other and provide a best-in-class entrepreneur leadership development program focused on building critical skills that foster resilience.

TEDCO Attended the MEDA Annual Conference

Exploration Commons at 50 East, located in Westminster, MD, provides the region with a collaborative and experiential learning space that integrates a makerspace, teaching kitchen and learning and meeting spaces. Guided by the input of many members of the Carroll County community and makerspace leaders from around the nation, this space is the future of library services not only in Carroll County, but around the nation. The space allows every person who walks through the doors to not only consume information and access equipment, but to create and contribute to their communities, learn new skills, or begin a new career.
