Return, a success intelligence software company focused on attaching true business outcomes to content success, announced today it closed on additional pre-seed funding led by Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO), with additional funding coming from private investors. After recording annual revenue from customers such as Virtusa Corporation and its key strategic partners, Return will continue to focus on the enterprise tech and services market segments.

Maryland startup STEER Tech is among the first to put a self-parking feature in the hands of consumers. Their automated, self-parking system can be retrofitted onto existing vehicles. STEER Founder and CEO Anuja Sonalker, Ph.D joined us to talk about putting this exciting new technology in the hands of consumers, and the wide range of applications. According To Sonalker, “TEDCO Recognized the game-changer that this technology could be, and it was about more than the money, TEDCO gave us all of the resources and support we needed.”

In their effort to foster a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive Maryland workforce, MTC's Technology Inclusivity Initiative (TI2) will be creating Maryland's first free online directory of tools and technologies that can help organizations develop, implement, and track their DEI strategies. MTC's DEI Tools Directory will feature qualified technologies that have been developed in Maryland, or by companies with a Maryland presence (e.g., business location and/or Maryland-based employees).

The DataTribe Challenge is a unique annual competition that brings together the best entrepreneurs in the world looking to disrupt cybersecurity and data science. DataTribe selects three finalists that split $20,000 in prize money and one winner that could receive up to $2 million in seed capital. The Challenge concludes in an invite-only pitch event where three finalists present to and network with cyber industry luminaries in-person. DataTribe will announce the winner at the end of this event.
