2019 LAUNCH OF EU-FUNDED TEEB PROJECT
IN 7 COUNTRIES
As of January 2019, thanks to support from the European Union, a new TEEB project aims to protect biodiversity and contribute to a more sustainable agriculture and food sector in seven EU partner countries (Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico and Thailand) by applying the TEEBAgriFood Evaluation Framework.
NATURAL CAPITAL ACCOUNTING AND VALUATION OF ECOSYSTEM SERVICES (NCA&VES)

Supported by the European Union, the UN Statistics Division is collaborating with TEEB and the Convention on Biological Diversity to assist Brazil, China, India, Mexico and South Africa to advance knowledge on ecosystem accounting and initiate pilot testing of the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA) Experimental Ecosystem Accounting (EEA).
