Trinity Education for Excellence Program (TEEP)

We’re thrilled to share that TEEP Summer officially kicked off on Monday, July 7th!

For the next five weeks, our amazing community of rising 7th-9th graders will dive into a summer filled with leadership development, academic growth, and plenty of fun, all grounded in our core values of racial equity and belonging.

What's in store for our TEEPers?

  • Weekly Math, ELA, & Art Classes
  • Weekly Field Trips (including the Museum of Science, Blue Hills Reservation, Canobie Lake Park, the State House, and more!)
  • Morning and Afternoon Restorative Circles
  • Career Exploration Workshops and Visits

Save the date of TEEP Graduation on Wednesday, August 6th at 3:30pm at Trinity Church to celebrate our students' summer accomplishments.

GEARING UP FOR THE

SOLE TRAIN 5K

Join us for the 11th Annual Sole Train 5K on Saturday, October 25th at Franklin Park. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, your presence will mean the world to our young runners.

ABOUT SOLE TRAIN

Sole Train fosters mentorship, goal setting, and community-building through noncompetitive running 2-3 times a week, after school. The program connects Boston’s youth of color (Young Soles) with volunteer trainers (Old Soles) to train for and run our Annual Sole Train 5K.

By combatting deficit thinking and emphasizing goal achievement, Sole Train transforms physical activity into a tool for mental health and leadership development.

HOW CAN I SUPPORT?

The Sole Train 5K raises funds to support our year-round programming, currently reaching 200+ Young Soles and 50 Old Soles.

Your support - whether it’s sponsoring, donating, or just being there - helps us reach more youth and create lasting change through movement.

Let’s run this race together!

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING TEEP!

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to our incredible funders and supporters who are helping to make this TEEP summer the best one yet!

The Trinity Education for Excellence Program (TEEP) is not only 100% free for students but employs 17 teenagers and 2 young adults from the Boston area who support our program as Leaders-in-Training, Counselors, and Leads.

All of this is made possible by our incredible community of supporters (like you!) and our partnerships with the SuccessLink youth employment program, Dean Welfare Trust, Schrafft Charitable Trust, and Trinity Church in the City of Boston.

We are truly grateful for your support!
