NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Alabama Housing Finance Authority (the "Authority") hereby gives notice of its intention to conduct a public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments from any interested person regarding the plans of the Authority to issue and sell its exempt facility bonds under Section 142(a)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code with respect to qualified residential rental multi-family housing projects, as follows: (1) up to $10,000,000 principal amount of bonds for the purpose of financing the acquisition, construction, installation and equipping of an approximate 60 unit project to be known as Juanita Hill Place to be located at 500 35th Street South, Bessemer, Alabama 35020; the owner of the project will be Hillside Redevelopment, Ltd.; (2) up to $12,000,000 principal amount of bonds for the purpose of financing the acquisition, construction, installation and equipping of projects to be owned by South Oak Residences, LP; such projects, location, approximate number of units and maximum principal amount of bonds for each project (not to exceed an aggregate amount of $12,000,000), respectively, will be as follows: (a) South Oak Apartments I; 302 4th Avenue, Foley, Alabama 36535; 16 units; $3,500,000; (b) South Oak Apartments II; 315 6th Avenue, Foley, Alabama 36535; 32 units; $6,500,000; and (c) South Oak Apartments III; 301 8th Avenue, Foley, Alabama 36535; 46 units; $8,500,000; and (3) up to $18,000,000 principal amount of bonds for the purpose of financing the acquisition, rehabilitation, installation and equipping of an approximate 212 unit project to be known as Capstone at Kinsey Cove located at 1121 Kinsey Road, Dothan, Alabama 36303; the owner of the project will be Capstone at Kinsey Cove, LP.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing concerning the issuance of the above-described bonds and the related projects will be held by the Authority at 10:00 a.m. on November 3, 2020, at the offices of the Authority, 7460 Halcyon Pointe Drive, Suite 200, Montgomery, Alabama.
