Welcome
to the
GREEN
CORNER
Used Binder Collection
TEMS is Recycling
USED Empty Binders from
June 10th through June 21st
If the binder is in good shape - please consider reusing it next year.
A collection box will be available in the front entrance of school.
Please do not send in other types of office supplies like folders, notebooks, or dividers.
The collected waste is mechanically and/or manually separated into metals, fibers, and plastics. Metals are melted so they may be recycled. The fibers (such as paper or wood based products) are recycled or composted. The plastics undergo extrusion and pelletization to be molded into new recycled plastic products.
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please contact Heather Hill at 610-640-3805 or send her an e-mail at globularclusters@yahoo.com
For more on recycling visit TEMS Green Initiative link.

Get Involved at CHS with Conestoga's Welcoming Committee!
8
th grade parents... Join us on the CHS Welcoming Committee for the 2019-2020 school year! Our goal is to reach out to families who are new to the district and ease their transition to the school and community. We connect new families with committee members who have children of similar ages, and we hold New Family Coffees once per month for those who are able to come. It's OK if you don't know much about the high school; your friendliness is what is most needed, and we learn a lot from each other at our monthly gatherings. If you speak another language, we also need multilingual speakers who are willing to assist new families in their native language. We are preparing now for the new families who will be arriving this summer and fall. For more info or to join the committee, contact Jen Marsala at
jenmarsala@verizon.net.
You are also invited to come and meet us at one of our upcoming
New Family Coffees
. The next coffee is on Friday, June 7 from 8-11 a.m. at Panera in the Gateway Shopping Center. Hope to see you there!
