BOBBY'S WORKSHOP AT MUSEUM IN THE PARK

Tone and Line on Bark Cloth

THIS COURSE WILL BE RUNNING BUT STILL HAS SPACES

I shall be offering my popular workshop on 'Tone and Line' but this time with a twist and introducing Bark Cloth that I use in my work. We will build up a series of well tested ideas into a small sketchbook using a wide variety of media and then explore how these initial thoughts can be translated onto the Bark Cloth in different ways. This course is accessible, fun and full of inventive ideas for further investigation. Please join me for one day and fill a sketchbook with plenty of ideas for personal development. All materials will be provided......just come along and enjoy the day.

OTHER NEWS

Last weekend I managed a full weekend away with my friends in the Textile Study Group when we had a fun and fascinating course making 'Zines'. The tutor was Jo Norman who uses a 'Riso' machine for her printing techniques. The first and second images are mine showing both sides of the paper. The first is the poster side and the second side is made up of the individual pages when the Zine is folded. This may be used for a forthcoming exhibition next year at Dean Clough in Halifax. Other work from members: Vivienne Beaumont followed by Amarjeet Nandhra

Workshop in Somerset

Meanwhile this weekend I shall be travelling down to Somerset to teach a workshop for 'Somerset Creative Textiles', but will be taking the train. It has been a while since I did an away course so am looking forward to this trip. Will share images on my return.

Catch you all again in a couple of weeks and hopefully see some of you out and about.

Bye for now and thanks for dropping by. Bobby
