A Morning of Inspiration: The Annual Grantee Recognition Breakfast
13 organizations dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in South Central Pennsylvania addressed a philanthropic audience at the Fund for Women & Girls Annual Grantee Recognition Breakfast, held on April 18th at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel.

Attention Grant Seekers: Grant Opportunity Available Now, Deadline August 1, 2019!
The Fund for Women & Girls will make grants to programs and initiatives that serve women and girls in the South Central PA counties of Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lebanon, Perry, and the Dillsburg Area of York County. To further its mission, the Fund utilizes three Funding Priorities, which seek to support projects that advance the lives of girls and women by providing opportunities to develop economic self-sufficiency, provide health programs for women and girls, or promote the education of women and girls .

The Karen F. Snider Women in Philanthropy Award & The Rising Philanthropists Award
Each year, at the Power of the Purse fundraising event, the Fund for Women & Girls honors local women philanthropists. The Power of the Purse is the largest fundraising event for the Fund with the purpose of creating a deeper understanding of a woman’s ability to be philanthropic. For the second year, the Rising Philanthropists Award will be available, as well, honoring the rising generation of women making a difference in our community.
