Welcome to the Mechanicsburg Area Insider!

Meet Your Steward

Tashia James, Philanthropic Officer

I’m Tashia James and have the honor of servings as the Philanthropic Officer for the Mechanicsburg Area Community Foundation (MACF), Cumberland and Lebanon Counties. I get to witness firsthand how generous individuals and families are strengthening the Mechanicsburg area, supporting everything from local nonprofits and youth programs to arts, education and community development initiatives. MACF helps ensure that local resources remain in our community, directly supporting efforts to build a more vibrant, inclusive and resilient region for everyone.

At TFEC, we’re grounded in values that guide all of our work, inclusion, stewardship, endurance and integrity. These values are reflected in everything we do at MACF, from our thoughtful grantmaking and permanent endowment building to our commitment to transparency and trust with our donors and partners.

If you’re interested in getting more involved in local giving or learning how your support can create lasting impact, I encourage you to explore the many resources available at tfec.org. Whether you're ready to start a fund, support an existing cause, or just want to understand where your support can do the best, I’d love to have that conversation with you.

Sincerely,

Tashia James
