Welcome to the Perry County Insider!

Meet Your Steward

Emi Boz, Philanthropic Officer

My name is Emi Boz, and I serve as the Philanthropic Officer for both the Perry County Community Foundation and the Dillsburg Community Foundation. In this capacity, I act as a regional steward, facilitating meaningful connections between donors and non-profit organizations, while also championing local efforts that foster community growth. I work to strategically align initiatives within the region, advocating for those who call these areas home and helping to ensure that the voices of local residents are heard and supported.

The regions I oversee face a number of emerging challenges, which require thoughtful and sustained attention. Among these challenges, I see the need for enhanced community infrastructure, more equitable access to education, and the continued development of a skilled workforce. Additionally, there is a pressing need to offer focused support to local nonprofits, particularly those led by diverse and grassroots leaders who often operate without the same resources as larger organizations.

Looking ahead, I have set ambitious goals for the upcoming year. I am committed to strengthening the fabric of our communities by improving infrastructure, promoting greater educational equity and fostering workforce development. I also intend to bolster the support provided to local nonprofits, with a particular emphasis on elevating diverse leadership and ensuring that all voices have the opportunity to contribute to our collective growth.

For those interested in becoming more involved in local giving and community support, I would encourage you to explore the resources available on the TFEC website. The site offers a wealth of information on how you can align your philanthropic efforts with causes that resonate with your values. Alternatively, I am always happy to engage in a conversation to help identify how your support can make the most meaningful impact within our community.

Sincerely,

Emi Boz

Grantee Impact in Action

All kinds of residents came out to support the concert. Little children came with parents to hear the music along with elderly attendees, too. The concert is a treasured summer tradition for many residents in Millerstown that features recognizable fan-favorite songs. The support of PCCF helped offset the production cost for the concert.
