This old saying, “Thank God it’s Friday,” has taken on a new meaning for me. Brené Brown, one of my favorite people in the history of people, has encouraged all of us to take a look at this from a new perspective. Let’s break it down, and I’ll share my reflections based on our theme of transitions.
What am I
right now? I am trusting that I am right where I need to be in terms of my career, my relationships, and my personal growth. There’s no use in worrying about the unknowns in each area. As us yogis say: put in the effort and then let go of the results.
What am I
for? I am grateful for my boyfriend, Handerson, who has been a solid rock for me through my transition of quitting my full time job to go into private practice. I pray I can always be there for him in the ways he has been there for me.
Who or what is
me right now? Of course Brené Brown, all day! Her new Netflix special, “A Call to Courage” and her new book,
Dare to Lead
are inspiring my life. Finally,
What am I doing for
? I am really excited and looking forward to the all the fun in the sun that is about to happen with OUTDOOR yoga right around the bend, starting the first weekend in June. The Grandview Park class (every Sunday) is my happy place, where so much magic and fun happens! I can’t wait to see all you there. So in your reflections this Friday… ask yourself these questions…. TGIF!
