What we provide is only possible through the generous donations we receive,
no matter how much, they all make these events possible for our families.
Glee Club Summer Concert
The ACF Glee Club continued to wow the crowds at their recent Summer Concert! Led by the club's Director, Bill Monaghan and ACF Volunteer, Morgan Duretz, the club sang hit songs like "We Will Rock You" by Queen and "We Are All in This Together" from High School Musical. After the show, glee club members celebrated in the lobby with refreshments, while families got to meet and chat with each other.

Autism Cares Foundation would like to thank St. Vincent de Paul Church and their staff members for the kind use of their facility.

Our 30+ Glee Club members are teens and adults with special needs, ages 14+ who meet over a 6-week session to choose, practice and then perform their favorite songs. This group also enjoys working on their social skills while at practice, as well as creating lasting friendships.

Glee Club will meet again this Fall, so be sure to look out for registration!
July 4th Fun!
Autism Cares Foundation was proudly represented at the Southampton Day, Sam Costantini Annual 4th of July Parade this year! One of our most generous and thoughtful supporters, Gastec Enterprises, drove their awesome ACF and puzzle piece wrapped truck during the family event.

We LOVE hearing from our ACF family and friends when they see the truck, so tag us both on social if you see it around town!
Mark your calendars!
Save the date for our Annual Race for Resources! The 5K/10K/Family Walk fundraiser will be taking place on Saturday, November 2nd at Bucks County Community College and Tyler State Park. Following the race and walk, join in the fun as family and friends celebrate each other and the proud work of our Foundation. There will be food, activities and miles of smiles!

Registration coming soon!
ACF at the Movies!
On Sunday, June 23rd, ACF hosted a Sensory Friendly showing of Toy Story 4 at AMC Neshaminy 24! This highly anticipated summer movie was the obvious choice for our June event, and happy participants agreed. Families arrived at the theatre to enjoy an experience tailored to the special needs of their children in an environment of acceptance and inclusion. Thank you to the staff members at AMC Neshaminy for their hard work and kind treatment of our families and special friends.

ACF is able to offer a Sensory Friendly Movie about 4 times per year. We know this event fills up fast, so always put yourselves on the Wait List! When everyone works together to be conscious and communicate cancellations and schedule changes, we are able to continue to move those from the Wait List to confirmed registration.

Keep an eye out for our Fall Calendar to see what movie is next!
Sweet Social!
Ice Cream and BINGO? What fun! Thank you to all the cuties who joined us for a super cool Ice Cream Social at ACF last month. Summer evenings are perfect for enjoying a cold treat, and we decided to make it sweeter by adding a fun game of bingo.

Autism Cares Foundation would like to offer our sincere thanks to the owners of Owowcow Creamery in Wrightstown, for generously donating the delicious ice cream. They have locations in both PA & NJ, so be sure to check them out!
ACF Offers Perspective at Task Force Meeting
Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick hosted a Task Force Meeting on Children with Special Needs at the Newtown Campus of Bucks County Community College on June 7th. Autism Cares Foundation was honored to be invited, along with other federal, state, county and local experts, to help identify synergies and gaps in the approach to addressing the factors that impact the health and well-being of our residents. This Task Force also hopes to give insight on recommendations for legislative changes at the federal level, to help move our community forward in this effort.
Altitude is a blast!
Our excitement continues at the Altitude Trampoline Park in Feasterville at Jump Night! This fun event for all ages, allows those with autism and other special needs to express their energy in a safe and understanding environment.

Our monthly Altitude events take a summer break for July & August, but will back in action for the Fall!
