Covid-19 Vaccinations in the Workplace - Mandatory or Voluntary?
As the rollout of Covid-19 vaccines picks up pace, many employers are considering whether to require all their employees to be vaccinated. During this program we will address the relevant legal and practical issues that employers need to consider when making this decision, including the following important questions:

  • Is it lawful to require your employees to be vaccinated?
  • Can you fire an employee who refuses to be vaccinated?
  • Are there situations where an employee may refuse to be vaccinated and you may not fire them?
  • What are the pros and cons from a practical standpoint of requiring your employees to be vaccinated?
  • The goal of this session is to provide you with an understanding of the key issues that you need to resolve in deciding whether or not to make Covid-19 vaccinations mandatory in your workplace.

Understanding Business Fundamentals

In this free, virtual workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of owning a business. Topics will include putting together a business plan, getting business financing, and marketing. The workshop will also provide information on the many business assistance resources that are available to entrepreneurs locally and regionally.
Understanding Business Financials

In this free, virtual workshop, participants will learn how to read and create a balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, and keep on top of their business finances. The workshop will also explain how a small business owner can anticipate financial needs in order to operate the business more efficiently.

The pandemic hasn't stopped Chamber members from networking. Our Referral Exchange Networks (REN) are all meeting virtually.
