The Chamber is planning an all new event for September (and we are keeping our fingers crossed that we will be having events by September).
Loosely modeled after the popular “TED Talks” videos, we plan to bring together 7 experts from 7 different fields of business to share their expertise in just 7 minutes each.
The original plan was to focus the talks on “the future of (fill in the blank) – technology, medicine, art, education, etc. However, given our current situation regarding the coronavirus, we thought this would be an opportunity to learn how certain industries have changed the way they do business.
So, if you think you (or someone you know) have a particularly interesting story to share about your industry and its “new normal”, we may want to hear it. Please submit a brief description of your idea and why you think it would be a compelling part of our program. Send it Tom O’Rourke at
tom@nrrchamber.com.

COVID-19 Business Impact Survey
|
|
The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), in cooperation with our statewide association of chambers of commerce, has developed a survey to gauge the economic impact of COVID-19 on local businesses throughout the state.
The goal is to best understand the regional outlook for small businesses in order to share the results with lawmakers and other key decision-makers.
The survey is confidential and all questions are optional. It is likely to take 10 minutes to complete.
Thank you in advance for your input.

Please Help: Survey of MA Businesses on Education
|
|
Would you give me 5 minutes to help improve the role our schools play in filling the workforce pipeline?
The Neponset River Regional Chamber has been a long-time partner with the Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education (MBAE). For the last 30 years, MBAE has been a powerful voice for business on education policy on Beacon Hill. Throughout that time, MBAE has worked to ensure that all Massachusetts’ students gain the skills needed to pursue their future career and educational ambitions and to contribute to our high-skill economy.
Recognizing that these are very busy and challenging times, I am writing to ask that you spend 5 minutes responding to a survey:
I know your insights will benefit MBAE, and I value this opportunity for our members to inform the work of this important partner.
