1. INSPIRE Gala ft. Jewel
Thanks to Rob Goldstein and the SANDS Corp., we hosted INSPIRE, a charity concert featuring four time grammy nominated singer-songwriter Jewel and a special performance by Siedah Garrett of  Man in the Mirror.  100% of the proceeds raised on the evening went directly to the Foundation as all overhead costs were covered by SANDS. Save the date for May 18, 2018 as we look forward next year's INSPIRE!
2. 105th College Scholarship
Frideric Prandecki was our first graduate, class of 2006. 11 years later we now have 105 alumni in college on scholarship to schools including: Princeton, Oxford, Yale, Stanford, Georgetown, Vanderbilt, Villanova, Air Force Academy, UNLV & many others. We had 14 graduates this year including Ashley Newell who was awarded a full-ride to the UNLV School of Medicine.
3. Sir Richard Branson's
Necker Cup
Thanks to Remington Reynolds, Trevor Short, Mike Richards and our partnership with the National Tennis Foundation, we have been involved with the Necker Cup for the previous 5 years. Pro's such as Nadal, Djokovic, Tommy Haas, Bjorn Borg, Martina Navratilova. Eugenie Bouchard and others have donated their time and resources to help raise funds and awareness for the Foundation. Foundation students had big roles in this year's event that included day to day operations, transportation, daily schedule, gift bags, hosting and ambassador roles.
4. Fortune 100 Most Powerful Woman's Summit
Foundation youth had the opportunity to take part in this year's Fortune 100 Most Powerful Woman's Summit in Washington D.C. Students took part in Leadership Talks, Panel Discussions, and Mentoring Sessions with leaders of industry and CEO's of major companies such as Google, YouTube, Pepsi, and many others.

Pro's included Bob & Mike Bryan, Serena Williams, Andy Murray, Kevin Anderson, Jack Sock, James Blake, Tommy Haas, Eugenie Bouchard and Jim Courier, Foundation youth helped in various ways such as ball kids, score keepers, VIP hosts and as Team Bryan ambassadors.
6. Tony Bennett's Support
Tony Bennett helped us start the Foundation some 15 years ago and donated his time and energy to host fundraisers for the Foundation on multiple occasions throughout the years. We had the honor of hosting Tony at our office and shared the impact his investment has made on our program and the lives that have changed as a result.
7. Fuller Institute of Psychology Study & Curriculum Development
The Fuller Institute of Psychology was awarded a research grant from the Templeton Foundation to study character and virtue in at-risk youth and high-performance athletes. They are going to use a portion of the funds to study our program and prove our results using science and data. In addition to the study, they are going to help us document and professionalize our curriculum so that we can share our processes and programs with other Foundations around the world.
8. Expanding to Craig Ranch Park
The City of North Las Vegas approached us asking if we would like to scale what we are doing at Lorenzi Park by bringing it to the City of North Las Vegas. As a result, we have acquired a beautiful 6 court facility and will bring tennis, education and mentoring programs to an area of town that has not previously been introduced to this type or programing. We are very excited to expand our outreach to a new part of town and are very appreciative of our partnerships with the City of N. Las Vegas.
9. Leadership Retreats
Leadership Retreats are one of the most powerful programs we provide. Students are taken out of their day to day lives and placed into new environments, often involving nature, self-reflection and team bonding that gives them a new perspective on life and a greater sense of appreciation for what they have. Retreat's include the Sanford Family Zion Retreat, Colorado River Retreats, Taylor-Bergman Family West Coast Leadership Retreat, Wolfington Family East Coast Leadership Tour, US Open Alumni Retreat and the Granello Bakery Alumni Winter Leadership Retreat.
10. New Strategic Partnerships
We are very fortunate to have formed some amazing partnerships this year that have allowed us to take our organization to the next level. Jewel Never Broken has allowed us to scale our mindfulness and emotional intelligence program but putting it online to a website that has close to 40,000 users. Zappos has provided incredible mentors, coaching sessions and opportunities to our students. Kurt Long with FairWarning has created some amazing collaborative opportunities for our organizations and has built a world class company culture. Nike, Apple and Lulu Lemon have partnered with us on corporate giving, volunteering and various collaborative efforts. Lastly Windermere Real Estate group has partnered with us to provide arts, sales, and professional development classes for our youth.
