Finally, I want to thank all of our Republican candidates who ran but were not elected on Tuesday night. The time, energy, resources, and passion that you and your teams poured into your races did not go unnoticed and will not be forgotten. Every candidate has an important perspective to share, and I will speak for all of us when I say we are grateful for the many ways in which you helped further the Republican cause across our state. Joe Teirab, Tad Jude, May Lor Xiong, Dalia Al-Aqidi, Royce White, Kathleen Fowkle, House, judicial, school board, and local candidates - thank you for having the courage to put your name on the ballot and fight for us! Although we did not win every race, we made Minnesota redder, and we could not have done that without every candidate on the ballot.
There is much to look forward to over the next four years with a Trump-Vance Administration: lower costs, less regulation, a secure border, decreased crime... just to name a few. In addition to winning every swing state and the national popular vote, President Trump made history by becoming the second US president to win a second, non-consecutive term.
Please take some time to rest and reconnect with family and friends over the next few weeks. While there is always work to be done in Minnesota, it is important to celebrate the victories and look forward to a brighter future for our amazing nation.
Again, thank you for your work and support. Tuesday's victories would not have been possible without each and every person doing their part to make our state and country better.
In freedom,
