Minnesota Republicans,

It was wonderful to celebrate with so many of you at our watch party at the Radisson Blu on Tuesday night! With the historic national victory for President Donald Trump behind us, I want to take a moment to thank you all for your hard work and dedication over the past several months.

In Minnesota, we were able to break the DFL's Trifecta by flipping three House seats. Many congratulations to Erica Schwartz in 18A, Cal Warwas in 7B, and Aaron Repinski in 26A! They would not have been able to flip these seats if it weren't for so many of you giving thousands of hours and dollars to their campaigns.

In addition to the three flipped seats, the HRCC - under Lisa Demuth's leadership - held every Republican seat across the state. Congratulations to all the Republican House members who won their reelections! And to the newly elected representatives - Steve Gander (01B), Bidel Duran (02A), Scott Van Binsbergen (16A), Keith Allen (19A), Thomas Sexton (19B), Terry Stier (22B), Jimmy Gordon (28A), Max Rymer (28B), Wayne Johnson (41A), and Drew Roach (58B) - congratulations and welcome! We are excited for you to join the fight in St. Paul defending our conservative values.

Right now, there are two House seats that will go to recounts later this month: Sue Ek in 14B and Aaron Paul in 54A. I have received messages from some of you who are concerned about the integrity of these two elections, and I want you to know that I share your concerns and that they are valid, despite what Steve Simon may say. We are working closely with legal counsel as well as the HRCC to hold the parties involved responsible, get all questions answered, and ensure a transparent and fair recount.

I'd also like to recognize and thank the Trump Campaign for all of their hard work over the past three and a half months. Please reach out to thank them too! This team of 22 staffers was able to recruit, train, and activate thousands of Trump Force 47 captains, flip four MN counties for Trump that he lost in 2020, and turn out 30,000 more Trump voters across the state than we had in 2020. Special thanks to Blake Paulson for leading this incredible team!

To our Congressional Delegation - Brad Finstad, Majority Whip Tom Emmer, Michelle Fischbach, and Pete Stauber - congratulations on your reelections! We are glad that you will be going back to Washington to fight for Americans alongside President Trump. We are grateful for all you did to increase the voter turnout in your districts and help build the Party here in Minnesota this year.

Finally, I want to thank all of our Republican candidates who ran but were not elected on Tuesday night. The time, energy, resources, and passion that you and your teams poured into your races did not go unnoticed and will not be forgotten. Every candidate has an important perspective to share, and I will speak for all of us when I say we are grateful for the many ways in which you helped further the Republican cause across our state. Joe Teirab, Tad Jude, May Lor Xiong, Dalia Al-Aqidi, Royce White, Kathleen Fowkle, House, judicial, school board, and local candidates - thank you for having the courage to put your name on the ballot and fight for us! Although we did not win every race, we made Minnesota redder, and we could not have done that without every candidate on the ballot.

There is much to look forward to over the next four years with a Trump-Vance Administration: lower costs, less regulation, a secure border, decreased crime... just to name a few. In addition to winning every swing state and the national popular vote, President Trump made history by becoming the second US president to win a second, non-consecutive term.

Please take some time to rest and reconnect with family and friends over the next few weeks. While there is always work to be done in Minnesota, it is important to celebrate the victories and look forward to a brighter future for our amazing nation.

Again, thank you for your work and support. Tuesday's victories would not have been possible without each and every person doing their part to make our state and country better.

In freedom,

David Hann, Chairman

Republican Party of Minnesota
