Dear PTA Advocates of Duval County:

Each month I think about what I want to share in this letter to you. I always hope to say something that will help keep your spirits up when they’re sagging, inspire you to action when you’re tired, or simply help you know you’re not alone. This month you inspired me. I am so excited about the great things our Duval PTAs and PTSAs are up to and all of the ways you are making things happen!

Shout out to all of the newbies who have fearlessly jumped in and are innovating left and right, and hats off to returning officers who may have thought year two would consist of building on lessons learned year one, only to discover the playbook had changed. Despite everything going on, I know Duval PTAs are up to the challenge and will not just keep building a bridge but improving upon it every step of the way.

Theresa Rogers
President, Duval County Council of PTAs and PTSAs
