Pioneer Square volunteer-

The Alliance for Pioneer Square would like to extend a big THANK YOU for joining us at this year's Annual Pioneer Square Spring Clean event and the city's One Seattle Day of Service. Our community is truly grateful to you and to all the neighborhood volunteers and partners who participated, rolled up their sleeves and got to work making much needed improvements to Pioneer Square.

Whether you picked up a paint can, joined in on the litter pickup or spent the day weeding our medians and green spaces, the Spring Clean event would not have been a success without your support and that of fellow volunteers, we most certainly could not have done this without you!

Thanks to the work of over 220 volunteers, we successfully picked up 37 bags of litter, added 40 cubic yards of mulch to five 1st Ave medians, Fortson Square and City Hall Park, stenciled 56 storm drains, collected 10 bags of yard waste/weeds, cleaned up 11 traffic signal boxes, and so much more!

Event pictures from Spring Clean can be viewed on the Alliance's Facebook page.

We also want to appreciate our city partners at the Seattle Department of Transportation, Seattle Parks and Recreation, Seattle Public Utilities, the City of Seattle, and Mayor's office for collaborating with us on this event and making most of the day's work possible. Thank you to LAZ Parking for free event parking, First & Goal Inc./Seattle Seahawks for monetary contributions, and Sounders FC and OL Reign for offering free gameday tickets to volunteers.

What an incredible turnout and equally incredible day of taking action and making a difference in our community. Your efforts mean so much to Pioneer Square and thanks again for all you do for our neighborhood.

Sincerely,

The Alliance Team
