20 YEARS OF BIKE TO WORK DAY!

Bike Week 2026 has officially wrapped! Thank you for coming out and celebrating the 20 Year Anniversary of Bike to Work Day! We had over 6500+ Pit Stop Attendees commute to work on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 visiting 74 Pit Stops across the city with many Pit Stops reporting RECORD NUMBERS! 168 cyclists participated in Ride-and-Go-Seek, visiting 8+ Pit Stops between 6:30am - 9:00am and an impressive 51 cyclists participated in 20x20 - visiting 20 Pit Stops the morning of Bike to Work Day!

2026 also marked the pilot Bike to School Day with 7 participating schools hosting Bike to School Day Pit Stops, activations, crafts & prizes! Over 600+ students cycled to school on Bike to School Day! We look forward to Bike to School Day becoming an annual event!

THE PARTY DIDN'T STOP THERE!

TWO Post-Work Pit Stops at Good Neighbour Brewing Co. & Kilter Brewing Co., THREE YMCA-YWCA Neighbourhood Bike Parties throughout the city, Kidical Mass with 98 ATTENDEES, and a beautiful Group Ride - Rolling Through Red River Métis History, rolled through Bike Week and kept the celebration of cycling going!
