This Volunteer Appreciation Week, we’re taking a moment to shine a light on some of the most important people in our community—our incredible volunteers and fosters.
Every day, their compassion and love for the animals shows up in countless ways.
Early mornings spent preparing meals. Quiet moments comforting nervous animals. Foster homes opened to kittens, puppies, and pets who need extra love and healing. Long walks, clean kennels, events supported, pet food bagged, and so many loads of laundry.
These acts may seem small on their own, but together they create something extraordinary: safety, healing, and second chances for vulnerable animals.
The impact of our volunteers reaches far beyond our shelter walls. They help connect animals with loving families, strengthen our community, and make it possible for us to continue this work every single day.
