FAITH BASED BUSINESS NETWORKING EVENT

Thu Feb 8, 6pm-8pm

26 Forrest Ave.

Cocoa 32922

This meeting will bring awareness to Brevard County’s faith-based leaders of the significant hunger issues local kids are facing and how their congregations can help generate the change necessary to help hungry kids here in our own backyard.

Contact Promise for more details or to confirm attendance.

BREVARD KIDS ARE HELPING KIDS!

From a Tufts University study: "Kids who volunteer are more successful in school and more likely to graduate from high school and college. This may be because most service opportunities teach kids essential school — and life — skills like “long-range planning, working in groups, interacting with people who are different from yourself, and defining and solving complex problems.” Kids who volunteer are also challenged to figure out how to manage their own time and are empowered to do something to right wrongs.

Youth Support at Brevard Children's Business Fair

#kidshelpingkids

Dear The Children's Hunger Project,

We participated in the Brevard Children's Business Fair and we decided to donate 20% of our profits to you. We wanted to donate 20% of our profits because we like your cause and we want to help kids in need. From our sales at the Brevard Children's Business Fair, Upcycled Jemz will be donating $28 to you. The cash is included in the envelope.

From, Jemma and Jude

PS I also donated $35 from my friends Orion and Mason and I am doing an art sale at the corner of our street

PS We combined the money so there is a total of $63 in the envelope.

Not only has the need for weekend food packages increased by more than 1,000 children this past year, food costs have soared. We need your help to ensure we are able to continue to help feed our kids. Please consider a monthly donation, a great way to help us continue to feed children at risk of hunger locally.

Thank you for caring and sharing.

You give hungry children in Brevard hope.
