We wouldn’t be at this moment in history without you. Yes, you.
So, thank you.
Thank you to our volunteers. For all of the literally millions of outreach touches to register new Democrats in swing states! We’ll have lots of data coming, but it sure looks at first blush like what we all did made an unspeakably huge difference!
Thank you to our donors for funding this registration machine and keeping it operating at top speed and efficiency! Thank you recurring donors for helping to cover our monthly expenses. It lets us plan. And breathe.
Thank you to our Czars! Those gorgeous team leaders who champion and patiently explain postcarding, phonebanking, textbanking, social storming, in-person drives and trainings; our partnerships team, our media team, our Voterizer team, our info@ team (who answer all incoming messages), our events team, our newsletter team, our volunteer intake team, our social media asset team, our website team, our Slack moderators, our calendar wranglers, our proofers, our researchers, etc. (etc, because I will have left out many someones and groups of someones for sure).
Thank you to our trainers. OMG. How great you all are! Such patience and passion and humor and the ability to exquisitely transfer all of the necessary and variable information to our volunteers so they can feel taken care of, prepared to do the work, and succeed.
Thank you to our vendors, who print and ship postcards in the hundreds of thousands, who get us data at the last minute because we just got a donation that allows us to expand our database, who offer software to push out countless pro-democracy social media posts and calls to action, track and maintain our databases, or provide a platform for our newsletter to be lovingly crafted each week, or for our budget to be kept up to the minute, for our donations to be processed, for our events to be found by attendees, for our digital outreach methods (texting, calling, postcards) to handle multiple ever-changing campaigns.
Thank you to our Roundtable, that stalwart, talented, over-achieving band of happy warriors that keep our focus and mission front and center week after week after week.
Thank you to our partners. So many partners! Doing so many fabulous things to help register more Democrats in our target states and beyond. Big orgs, little orgs, campaigns, and folks without entities but with lots of organizing chops. Our partnerships have always been critical to making us an effective organization, but we keep learning from them all the fun new ways to make our growth explosive.
Thank you, Cory, our Chief Strategist and data miracle worker, who does so many things that if I tried to list them all this would be as long as a regular newsletter.
Thank you, Jason, our fearless leader, who puts in the work, sometimes sleeplessly, but always with heart and joy. And shaves occasionally if it’s a really important Zoom.
Thank you, poll workers, poll watchers, voter hotline answerers and everyone who helped others with where to go, what ID to bring, or by providing a ride to the polls.
Thank you, voters. Thank you, early voters. Thank you, absentee voters. Thank you, in-person voters who did it on the day. Who stayed in line. Thank you, GenZ. Thank you, women. Thank you, women of color, especially.
Thank you one and all for stopping the red wave. Thank you for the Senate. Thank you for the other huge wins – state legislatures, the governorships, denying the Election Deniers the ability to control the outcomes of our elections, and more. Most of all, thank you for literally saving democracy.
There are still ballot curing operations happening you can find HERE.
We’re super excited to help turn out the vote for Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock in the December 6th runoff. Find all of the ways HERE. If you're able, help fund them above.
And we’re completely beside ourselves with giddy anticipation to get to work with you this next cycle to... (everyone sing together now) register democrats… and… save the world!
Dale Roy Robinson, Field Team 6 COO
PS: We'll be back week after next with all of the newsletter things. Enjoy your Thanksgiving.
