Lynn and I are currently in Salt Lake City for training on the newest longarm from Grace. I can’t tell you about it since I’m writing this on Saturday, and we leave for training tomorrow. This trying to be pro-active stuff can be a bit confusing! However, we have two full days with all of our friends at Grace, and we don’t have to fly to get there so the trip should be great. We get back and then I get to prepare for the Sweet 16 Anniversary Party on Saturday, June 13!!! Please plan to attend: prices will be great for you, I will have lots of gifts for you while you’re in the shop, the cake is the lemon filled with butter cream that we all like the best, there will be some larger gift baskets that I will draw for at the end of the day and notify winners by phone. I’m thrilled to have been in this business for 16 years and for having your support to allow me to do so!!! This is my thank you to you, and an ask for you to stick with us so that we can do this for many more years to come. As the old song says “We’re nothin’ without YOU”!

We have some classes following, like the Barn Quilt and the Bucket Hat, to name a few, and then Lynn and I hit the airport at the end of the month for BU, which is held in New Orleans this year. The only thing we can be sure of there is that they will be introducing us to a few more new machines! We never know what or how many they will present, so stay tuned for pictures from the event. I’ve never been to New Orleans, so that should be unique in and of itself…we’ll keep you informed as the sessions go by. It’s a very busy time with classes all day long, then some events in the evening hours. Always interesting, to be sure!

Keep a watch on the web and the schedule for our 4 day camp of Christmas in July, this year focusing on a multitude of projects for you to embroider. Samples are up already in the classroom, and you can choose which days to attend (providing they are not full). If you attend the first 3 days, the 4^th day for you is free, and is a PhD. Day for you. That means a day to finish “Projects Half Done!”. We have three different and exciting instructors for you, give aways and special prices for attendees, a very minimum supply list since we hope to supply those hard- to- find items, a lot of laughter and a great camp!!! Sign up and pay to reserve your spot!!!
