Celebrating AANHPI Heritage Month with Special Guest Hudson Yang

In honor of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, the Chamber invites you to our annual AANHPI Luncheon on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Ocean Palace Restaurant in Houston.

This year’s luncheon features a special guest appearance by Hudson Yang, best known for his breakout role on ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat. Yang now stars in Crash Course Cuisine with Hudson Yang on National Geographic. In his current role, Yang explores global culinary traditions, trains alongside master chefs, and deepens his connection to Asian heritage through food.

The AANHPI Luncheon brings together business leaders, community members, and supporters to celebrate the achievements and contributions of AANHPI communities, while encouraging cross-cultural connection and dialogue.

The Asian Chamber board and staff recently had an outstanding opportunity to connect, collaborate, and celebrate at the Chambers of Commerce Luncheon hosted by Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones.

The event brought together chambers from across the region to share successes, explore new opportunities, and strengthen partnerships. A dynamic panel discussion featuring representatives from the Small Business Administration (SBA), Greater Houston Business Procurement Forum, Office of the Governor, and the Harris County Department of Economic Equity and Opportunity provided valuable insights into resources and initiatives that support business growth.

We are energized by the conversations and connections made and look forward to working together to drive even greater impact in our community!

2025 Asian Chamber Foundation Scholarships Now Open!

The Asian Chamber Foundation is proud to continue its tradition of supporting the next generation of leaders by awarding up to ten $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Greater Houston area. These scholarships provide financial assistance to deserving, academically driven students as they pursue higher education.

Since 2005, the Foundation has awarded scholarships each year—starting with $1,000 per recipient and increasing to $2,000 in 2022—helping students offset the rising costs of college. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, GPA, community service or employment, school activities, and a thoughtful essay.

We invite all eligible graduating seniors to apply and encourage our members and community to share this opportunity with family, friends, and school counselors. Let’s help deserving students take the next step in their educational journey!
