Throughout Bob's prophetic ministry, the Lord very often uses spiritual experiences to convey Biblical Truth important for the season in which it is given. The following prophetic revelation is one such experience. The Truth emphasized in this vision reminds us of the tremendous provision purchased for us at the cross. In the admonition given to the Laodicean church found in Revelation 3:17, the Lord describes their perception that they were rich and increased in goods and had need of nothing; yet they did not even realize that they were wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked as seen from heaven's perspective. If we as a church see ourselves as being rich and increased in goods then we do not recognize our great need for heaven's provision and the spiritual heritage provided for us. This revelation helps to remind us of our need to exercise our heritage and legacy provided by the Lord.
In the experience Bob found himself in a vehicle traveling at a great rate of speed on a highway called the "Straight and Narrow Way". It was Bob's perception that you could travel at any rate of speed on the "Straight and Narrow" highway. Nonetheless, he was pulled over on the highway by an angel of the law stating that he was going to restrain Bob from continuing at the present time. The angel had the appearance and attire of a Highway Patrolman. The Bible declares that angels are sent to and fro throughout the earth as the eyes of the Lord to Patrol the Earth. This angel was sent to Patrol the "Higher Way" to make certain that we were not living according to the law of sin and death but according to the "Law of the Spirit of Life" in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:2)
Then I said, "My lord, what are these?" And the angel who was speaking with me said to me, "I will show you what these are." And the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered and said, "These are those whom the LORD has sent to patrol the earth." Zech 1:9-10
The angel declared that he was sent to remind us of the "Law of the Spirit of Life". Therefore it was his obligation to read Bob his Biblical "Bill of Rights". The angel indicated that a review of these rights was greatly needed. Before reading to Bob his "Bill of Rights," the angel advised him that he had a right to an attorney if he so desired. Bob responded that he had representation; his advocate was a good Jewish lawyer that had never lost a case. The angel acknowledged Bob's statement with the affirmation of a wise instruction. The angel confirmed that he was a ministering spirit of Truth that accompanied the incarnate Word of God when He was on the earth in human form. He cited that we as God's people are not as familiar with our Biblical rights as we should be, especially with the things immediately ahead of us.
THE ANGEL THEN BEGAN A REVIEW OF SOME OF OUR RIGHTS SAYING:
YOU HAVE A RIGHT to the twelve redemptive natures of Jehovah manifested in the Person of Jesus Christ.
JEHOVAH-JIREH The Lord will provide
JEHOVAH-ROPHI The Lord our Healer
JEHOVAH-NISSI The Lord our Banner.
JEHOVAH-M'KADDESH The Lord Who Sanctifies
JEHOVAH-SHALOM The Lord our Peace
JEHOVAH-TSEBAOTH The Lord of Hosts
JEHOVAH-ROHI The Lord My Shepherd
JEHOVAH-TSIDKEENU The Lord our Righteousness
JEHOVAH-HELEYON Lord Most High
JEHOVAH-MAKKEH Lord Who Smites
JEHOVAH-GMOLAH Lord Who Recompenses
JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH Lord Who is Present
YOU HAVE A RIGHT to Mercy and forgiveness where you have sinned. You have a right to come boldly before the Throne of Grace to repent and when you have truly repented, then you have a right to the abundant Mercy of God. Mercy is not receiving what you do deserve.
YOU HAVE A RIGHT of inheritance. An inheritance was left to you and it is called Grace. You have a right to what you do not deserve. You have a right to the grace of God in every place that it is listed in scripture. Everything done in scripture in the Name of Jesus Christ., you have a right to do also. You have a right to all the miracles, signs and wonders that He did as your right of inheritance. These things are lawful for you according to the promise of God.
YOU HAVE A RIGHT to grow in love. You have a right to grow-up in all aspects unto Christ, always speaking the truth in love, being controlled in all areas of life by the love of Christ. Beyond all things, put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.
YOU HAVE A RIGHT to the fruit of the Spirit. You have a right to bear fruit of the most excellent kind. By Grace you have a right to a cleansed and purified soul through the Spirit of Christ thereby producing fruit according to His nature and character.
YOU HAVE A RIGHT to the abiding anointing that He had. You have a right to the fullness of the anointing that rested upon the Lord Jesus Christ. You have a right to do all that He did by the same Spirit that empowered Him.
YOU HAVE A RIGHT to His Holy Spirit in full measure. This is your legal right. The blood of God has secured this constitutional Bill of Rights sealed as a covenant and an inheritance for the joint-heirs with Christ. Each believer has the need to know his biblical Bill of Rights to put up his guard and contend for the faith that was once delivered to the fathers. You must contend for your rights and defend yourself from unlawful intrusion at all times.
YOU HAVE A RIGHT to the fullness of the Godhead. You have a right through spiritual cleansing and maturity to be joined in union with Christ as One Spirit knowing perpetual relationship and communion with God, sharing in His Divine Nature.
YOU HAVE A RIGHT to the gifts of the Spirit. These are your inherent rights.
He ascended on high leading captive a host of captives giving gifts unto men. Earnestly desire the best gifts; for that is your spiritual privilege.
IF YOU ARE LIVING YOUR LIFE ACCORDING TO THE "LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE" THEN :
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to lasciviousness. You do not have a right to unbridled lust or that which is contrary to chastity or is lewd and excessive.
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to lie. You do not have a right to act or speak falsely with the intent to mislead or delude. Your enemy is a liar and the father of lies.
To speak falsely is to agree with him and oppose the nature of Christ. Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices.
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to sexual immorality. This is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in lustful passion, like those who do not know God;
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to anger. You do not have a right to displeasure and indignation arising from the feeling of injury done or intended against you. But now you also, put aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth.
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to envy, jealousy and strife. Envy is conceived from jealousy and strife. For where envy, jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. Instead, be pleased when your brother prospers knowing that the Kingdom of Heaven merits from their prosperity.
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to unforgiveness. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.
And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to depression and rejection. You are commanded to be strong and of good courage; neither afraid nor dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with you wherever you go. He has accepted you in His grace therefore, harboring rejection in your heart is to deny His Word
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to live in fear. God hath not given you the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Fear breeds bondage and you have the glorious right and privilege of freedom...for the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to disappointment, disillusionment, defeat. These emotions are thieves sent to steal the word of faith and distort vision. You must know whom you have believed and be convinced that He is able to guard those entrusted to Him until the day of your redemption.
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to live in sickness nor continue in sin. You have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth; and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to emotional distress and mental illness. Yours is a calling to soundness of mind, moderation and self-control purchased for you at the Cross of Calvary cultivated through prudence and discretion. You have access to the very mind of Christ which is perfectly balanced.
YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to uncleanness of flesh and spirit. You must perfect holiness in the fear of the Lord pursuing purity and righteousness. While it is true that all purifying influence and all holiness proceeds from God, it is also true that the effect of all the influences of the Holy Spirit is to excite you in diligence to purify your own hearts, and to urge you to make strenuous efforts to overcome sin. This is a work which God desires, and one in which He will give you all the aid required.
These are but a few of the many rights and privileges provided to us through our redemption and reconciliation with God. We must contend for the faith to exercise our rights when the enemy is trying to push us into an unlawful act. When the enemy comes against us with an unlawful thought we must exercise our Bill of Rights to put evil thoughts down bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. We must contend for the "belt" of the dread champion. Many are presently contenders in training to become the champions of God. To do that we must thoroughly know our rights before God. Train yourself up to be a dread champion with the help of the Holy Spirit... one that is a winner. However, we must contend until we become a commissioned champion of valor.
When we contend for our rights and agree with God we then exercise God's authority against these unlawful deeds. When we take our adversary to the heavenly court on the basis of God's "Bill of Rights", we will always be victorious and find the ruling in our favor.
