PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Greetings Daves Avenue Families,

Time is precious and information is plentiful. There are 3 important topics in my message today including LGUSD Reopening Schools, Picture Makeup Day, and Student Council’s “Service Above Self” Community Projects.

1. LGUSD Reopening Schools

Thank you to all parents and staff who were able to participate in Principal Chat #3 last night. The discussion was focused on the LGUSD Return to Campus Reopening Plan. Please take time to read the most updated information located on our Daves Avenue website in addition to the LGUSD website:

Additionally, I sent an email to every Daves Avenue family on Monday, November 30, titled, “LGUSD Reopening Parent Choice & Intention Letter”. Please make sure to read it thoroughly and if you did not receive an email, please contact our front office at (408) 335-2000. For your convenience, here are two important links:

2. Picture Makeup Day on December 9
This is the only makeup picture day for this school year. Thank you for helping to make sure that your child’s picture is captured for this school year.
3. Student Council
Our Student Council has kindly and courageously decided to lead our Cool Cat Community in two acts of kindness this season. Your support and wrap-around of this school-wide community service project is genuinely appreciated. Families can drop off the following items to marked bins in front of campus or to teachers during distribution days. Also, we are excited for several upcoming Spirit Days!
Wishing you a PAWSitively safe and healthy rest of the week.
Kind regards,
Principal
