PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Greetings Daves Avenue Families,

Today our Cool Cat community met on the blacktop for our monthly Wednesday Wave. Our character card bucket is filling up quickly as our students are becoming experts in demonstrating how to be Peaceful, Aware, Wise, & Safe at school and in our community. Congratulations to the recipients of the December

A few reminders:

Drop-off and pick-up: Please do not leave your car unattended in the Daves Avenue and Poppy drive-thrus.
TK/Kindergarten parents, please continue to have your child(ren) enter the Kinder gate independently and walk to class. Our youngest Cool Cats are shining bright!
Our shoe drive is still going strong! Please consider donating slightly used shoes before December 17.

PICTURE RE-TAKE DAY

This Friday, December 3rd is picture make-up day. If your child was absent on picture day, they can have their picture taken on Friday. If you purchased a portrait package and would like your child to retake their picture, please send the original portrait package to school with your child on Friday.

Proof slips will be sent home with your child around the first week of January.

STAFF APPRECIATION LUNCHEON

Help us say THANK YOU to our amazing Daves Avenue Staff by donating a small gift card ($10 - $20) to any store, coffee shop, or retailer for our Annual Staff Holiday Luncheon to be held on Wednesday, December 15th.

Please leave all gift cards in the marked box in the front office by 3pm December 14th.
