Dear Daves Avenue Families,
I hope this message finds you happy and healthy. As you know, there has been a tremendous amount of Covid related communications shared over the last two weeks. Thank you for taking the time to read ALL updates and for asking questions as needed. As a reminder, if your child does not feel well, please keep them home. Team LGUSD is maintaining an “all hands on deck” approach with testing, documenting, phone calls, and emailing letters to make sure our students, staff, and families remain as safe as possible. Together we are managing this current surge with mutual respect which is helping all of us to maintain our stamina. Our Cool Cats are watching how the trusted adults in their lives (guardians and staff) ride this Covid wave, and I’m proud to say that we are rising to the occasion! Let’s keep it up as we navigate the coming weeks.
On January 21st, we will have a whole school kick-off assembly to reignite our partnership with the American Heart Association for an important cause. More details can be found below! If we reach our school goal, I believe I have agreed to do something that I might regret☺.
