Dear Families,
Reopening school planning, Covid testing, and the upcoming Be Seen & Heard presentations are keeping Team LGUSD busy!
This Thursday, January 21st at 4:00 P.M., there is a special LGUSD Board Meeting where the most updated local and state guidelines will be reviewed. Please stay tuned for more information regarding reopening dates for students who are projected to be “Roomers”.
As yesterday was the first day of student Covid testing on campus, we are grateful for our partnership with the Santa Clara County Office of Education and Curative Testing to make this service available to students on a bi-weekly basis for students who are projected to return to campus. Over 60 students who are projected to be “Roomers” in Cohort A were tested yesterday.
On Friday, January 8, a letter was emailed home to all families regarding the upcoming Be Seen & Heard Year 3 presentations. As a friendly reminder, If you prefer that your child opt-out of this prevention education session, please complete the opt-out segment that was attached to the bottom of the letter and email it to me by this Friday, January 22.
Finally, attached is an opportunity for all parents. LGUSD Student Services is welcoming Dr. Damon Korb on January 25th @ 7:00 P.M. Please review the informational flyer below and consider attending to further enhance our partnership as we support all students in their temporary virtual learning journey.
