It’s been a great week for Cool Cats! Yesterday, all 5th grade students met virtually with RJ Fisher Middle School Administration to hear about their transition to middle school. Congratulations to Maddison Desmet, Xander VonMatt, Vibhish Chakravarthy, and Minou Moghaddam for being selected to earn Fisher swag! Here is a sneak peak of a few of our captive audience members:

Last night we welcomed Hagerman the Science Wizard for a virtual Science Assembly. Over 75 Cool Cats were in attendance! Thank you to our amazing Home & School Club and Science Fair Committee for making this possible. Our 2021 “Science Fairies” include Mrs. Catherine Yang, Mrs. Weiwei Gu, Mrs. Lan Jiang, and Mrs. Wen Li. Their planning and support to make our Science Fair a reality this year has been simply phenomenal! Thank you for your efforts! 4th Grade student, Nolan Salas, shared with me his science show representation from last night! Way to go, Nolan! |

Note: Parents will have the ability to customize 2 pages of their child's yearbook for free this year. We will need to share parent contact information with our yearbook provider TreeRing in order to give parents access to their child's account. If you do not want us to share your information with TreeRing, please email Amy Garza at agarza@lgusd.org and we will remove you from the list.

In order to provide to go lunch options for all students we are changing a few details of our meal program that we wanted to bring to your attention.
1) Grab-n-Go lunches will be available for all students at each campus exit gate from MTTHF 11:45-12:15 (elementary) and M-F 10:45-11:15 (middle school). The tables are marked by menu item and students can grab a breakfast snack/lunch to eat at home. These meals are complementary for all students.
2) Complementary meals are also available for drive through pick up at Fisher. The hours for drive thru have changed slightly and will be open from 11:30-1:00 daily M-F.
3) Any special dietary needs to contact Lupe Pena directly at lpena@lgusd.org
4) We will publish the menu and meal schedule weekly on Wednesdays so that you may plan ahead.
