This week all Cool Cats are demonstrating growth in adaptability, which is listed as one of the six attributes in our LGUSD Student Success Profile. All students and staff have demonstrated flexibility when acclimating to the transition from a mask requirement to a strong recommendation. Our community of learners all continue to work effectively and confidently in a climate of ambiguity and shifting priorities. Thank you!
This Friday, March 18, 2022, please join us for an in-person Home & School Club Meeting at 9:00 A.M. in the MPR. There will be a special presentation regarding the community playfields.
Some of my friends on the playground told me to watch out for Leprechaun traps around campus. One of my Grandmother’s favorite Irish sayings was, “May your day be touched by a bit of Irish luck, brightened by a song in your heart, and warmed by the smiles of the people you love”.

In preparation of the Board decision on April 21, the facilities committee and site administration are inviting you to join in a community input session. Your feedback will be shared and will help to inform the facilities committee recommendations to the Board.

The literary classic has been musically adapted for the stage with a score about personal discovery, heartache and hope – the sounds of a young America finding its voice – as we follow the adventures of sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March and their experiences growing up in Civil War America.

The Home & School Club would really love to bring back our annual end-of-year Carnival and Talent Show this year, but we need your help! We are seeking a Chair (or grab a friend and Co-Chair) to lead a committee that will coordinate food, games, and entertainment. The Carnival will take place at the end of May. It is usually our last big event of the school year and the kids love it! If you would like more information or are interested in this fun opportunity, please contact H&SC Co-VP Melissa Barragan.
