Under the Department of Defense's SkillBridge program, we've partnered with Orion Talent to help service members transition to manufacturing careers with Florida manufacturers. Through Orion Talent's HireSkills program, candidates receive industry certification training and transition assistance to smoothly transition into rewarding careers in manufacturing.

Here's what you need to know about the program:

Credentialing and Job Preparation: Candidates remain in the military throughout the credentialing and job preparation process. They can be interviewed and provided a job offer at any time.

Recognized Industry Credentials: Participants can earn recognized industry credentials such as the Certified Manufacturing Associate (CMfgA) or the Certified Production Technician (CPT).

Registered Apprenticeship Occupations: Participants continue training in one of three registered apprenticeship occupations: Industrial Manufacturing Technician (IMT), Quality Control Technician (QT), or Production Technologist (PT).

Program Highlights for Participating Employers:

·      Receive candidate profiles as servicemembers enter the program.

·      Agree to interview candidates who qualify and express interest in your company.

·      Ability to extend contingent offers at any time following interviews.
