1. How long have you been a BAMA member? 

I formally joined BAMA in 2015 but I recall working with BAMA for at least 10 years helping coordinate manufacturing tours in Pinellas County.

2. What do you like most about being a BAMA member? 

I like the way BAMA’s mission is accomplished, specifically by working with a passionate group of professionals who are eager to share ideas, and best practices working together for the advancement of manufacturing education and the STEM pipelines that feed into them.

FLATE is part of the FloridaMakes Network and is partially funded by the Florida Department of Education. FLATE’s mission is to improve and advance technician education through curriculum reform, and professional development as well as developing the STEM pipelines that feed into them. Dunedin High School visited Clearwater Gas System as part of our year long education program

Countryside High School got a special treat on their Manufacturing 2022 student tour to Apyx Medical! They even got to try the Electro surgical equipment used in a variety of surgeries.

Clearwater High School visited Actron, and learned about how parts are manufactured for the aerospace & defense industry.

Lots of fun and great connections were made at the Kelly Murphy Memorial Golf Fundraiser at The Eagles Golf Club on November 11th! The funds raised will go toward STEM education for local students. Thank you to all who attended.

Lots of critical information was shared at the Manufacturing Lunch & Learn at Maggiano's. Our panel of experts from American Momentum Bank, The Florida CFO Group and Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund discussed sales and use taxes, employee Retention Tax Credits, Budgeting for next year, Debit consolidation and the impact of your current loans and International Trade loan program.
