COMMUNITY PLAN SURVEY
The Atwater Village Neighborhood Council (AVNC) has been hard at work on its effort to establish guidelines for future development in our neighborhood.  With approval from the City, these guidelines will direct future development.

Last month, AVNC initiated its Community Plan Survey asking you, our stakeholders, to tell us what you like most about Atwater Village.

The AVNC will be administering its survey on Thursday, September 14.  You have three choices:

Back to School Night at Glenfeliz Elementary School
When:  4:30 - 6:30 pm
Where: 3955 Glenfeliz Boulevard

AVNC Board meeting
When:  7 pm
Where: Christ Church, 3852 Edenhurst Avenue

Back to School Night at Irving STEAM Magnet Middle School
When: 5:00pm-7:00pm
Where: 3010 Estara Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90065

We will complete our survey towards the end of September.  The results of our survey will help the AVNC develop our community development guidelines.  Stay tuned for additional times and locations when we will be administering our survey, including a door-to-door campaign.

If you live, work, or own real property in Atwater Village, you are stakeholder.  Also, if you are an owner or employee of a business, a student or parent of a school, or a parishioner of a church, located in Atwater Village, you are stakeholder. Please take our survey and help AVNC protect what we love most about our little corner of the world.

If you would like more information on how to take the survey or have any other questions, you can reach out to the AVNC at edward@atwatervillage.org or larry@atwatervillage.org .

ATWATER MOVIE NIGHTS

Following the murder of a mutual friend, aspiring con man Johnny Hooker (Robert Redford) teams up with old pro Henry Gondorff (Paul Newman) to take revenge on the ruthless crime boss responsible, Doyle Lonnegan (Robert Shaw). Hooker and Gondorff set about implementing an elaborate scheme, one so cra fty that Lonnegan won't even know he's been swindled. As their big con unfolds, however, things don't go according to plan, requiring some last-minute improvisation by the undaunted duo.
