Buda City Park
Amphitheater Concrete Pouring
The concrete pouring for the City Park Amphitheater started today. Work also continues on the circular 10-foot sidewalk that will surround the lawn area of the amphitheater. Substantial completion of the park is expected in April 2020.
Goodbye Power Lines!
The FM 967 and Main Street intersection improvement project is underway! The power and communications lines were run underground opening the opportunity to remove the overhead lines from the skyline! Its only a start, but we’re already noticing a visible sign of change! Construction on the intersection is expected to start later in the year. 

New Restroom
At Stagecoach Park
The Public Works Department is constructing a new restroom at Stagecoach Park. 
Johnson High School Ribbon Cutting
The new Moe & Gene Johnson opens its doors to students in a few weeks!  Hays CISD  is inviting the public to the official ribbon cutting ceremony this weekend.

Buda Public Library Hosts Ricardo Parra
The Buda Public Library will host a concert with Chilean singer - songwriter Ricardo Parra on Aug. 8 at 7 PM at Buda Municipal Complex Building multipurpose room. Admission is free and the concert will be family friendly!

18th Annual 'Striking a Balance' Caregiver Conference. 
The Area Agency on Aging of the Capital Area and Age of Central Texas have teamed up for the 18th Annual 'Striking a Balance' Caregiver Conference. Come discover local caregiver resources, learn new skills, and connect with other caregivers & local experts on aging!

Main Street Improvement Project
(Between Cabela's Drive and Railroad Street)
The Main Street Improvement Project will begin construction in the upcoming weeks. To learn more about the construction, watch the video. For more information on the project, visit the link below.

Hays County Traffic Alert: Old San Antonio Road
All traffic on Old San Antonio Rd. will be northbound only for the duration of the Buda Elementary School construction project, which is expected to finish in mid-September. Starting on July 26, the sidewalk at the southwest corner of Main Street and Old San Antonio Road will be closed for no longer than two weeks.

City of Buda has partnered with WaterSmart Software to offer residents a digitalized way of seeing real-time water consumption through this free service on mobile devices.
