Main Street Closure
Due to ongoing construction, Main Street between Ash Street and Peach Street is expected to close beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10 and will re-open by 5 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 13. This includes the intersection of Main Street and RM 967. Construction will occur overnight and through the weekend. In the event of inclement weather, plans are subject to change.

Downtown Main St. Construction Shifts to West Side of Main St.
Following the completion of the mill and overlay work on the east side of RM 967 and Main Street planned for this weekend, the traffic control plan for the project will be modified as TxDOT’s contractor Lonestar Siteworks moves to the next phase of the project.

The City of Buda is proud to announce that it has received the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The City received the Certificate of Achievement for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) for the 2018 Fiscal Year.

The project is a vital aspect of Alliance Water’s overall effort to deliver a new water supply to all of our customers.

Buda Count: Census 2020

By April 1, 2020, every home will receive an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census. Once the invitation arrives, you should respond for your home in one of three ways: online, by phone, or by mail. Accurate counts impact federal funding levels and representation in the state and federal level.

For more information on the 2020 Census and the importance of being counted, please visit  2020census.gov or www.ci.buda.tx.us/budacounts .

The Buda City Council has established a Complete Count Committee (CCC) for the City of Buda. CCC's are volunteer committees whose purpose is to increase awareness and motivate residents to respond to the 2020 Census.
